Guest speaker Ed Traut came spoke on how to cultivate and maintain our desires for Jesus 

Have you ever had seasons where you asked God to move and there is silence. Or a request to feel His presence again and you feel nothing… It’s like God is a blank screen… Can I tell you something… You are not alone.... What does it mean for us to be Point View Church? Transforming people. 2 Cor 3:18 we are transformed by the Spirit into Gods image, step by step. But we have a knowing, doing gap... We know what we should do, yet it rarely materializes. Your loves/desires are the bridge to move from knowing to doing... so how do we order our loves to be a bridge to the transformation we long to see?

There is always something you can’t see influencing what you can see. Paul in his final section of the letter to the Ephesians calls them to stand against not people, but the dark powers of this world with Spiritual warfare. Paul lays out what we are fighting and how we fight it.

In this section of Ephesians (6:1-9), Paul addresses healthy relationships. He begins earlier (5:21) by introducing the principle of mutual submission, then addressing how it works in marriage. Our text deals with how it works in parent/child relationships as well as with slave/master relationships. Mutual submission means that both parties are responsible to love and serve the other.

Marriage is a covenant: a permanent and personal binding commitment you make to another person. Not just declaring present love but forever love. In this section of Paul's letter we see him lay out guard rails of submission to another for flourishment. Enjoy this panel discussion as we look at what it means and how we live it out.

In this challenging yet life giving message, Pastor Jonny navigates the issues of bad imitations of God's love. We experience good and bad imitations everyday. We can tell a bad imitations on how it is made, its cheap, it breaks, and it's unfulfilling. Yet we still consume it... We need a better why to lead us to the good imitations in life.

"Loving you is a losing game" This is a counter message to what we hear today. The world says follow your heart, you do you, follow your truth. You can be whatever you want. We have moved from an age of limits to an age without limits yet we see anxiety and depression rise as people do not know who or what to be… we are slaves to our own freedom of self love.
