Often we feel the noises of the world drown out the voice of God but actually our hearts disconnected are the root causes. As we practice a rhythm of Silence and solitude we see transformation of our emotions, idols and gain direction from God. 

Opportunities are always in front of us and we can choose to see a wall or a door. In our world we love to see! We celebrate when we see a truth we will even fake it to just fit in. We create frame works that help us see but often these same frame works cause us to be blind. Jesus in John 9 teaches us what it means to see and the trust it forms. 

This past Sunday we finished up our series "Leave for the 99" hearing from  different experiences and perspectives on the power of the invitation. We looked at how it changed lives and how we can create space for the invitation.

As Christians we are called on mission to this world, to leave for the 99 lost sheep. We continued in John 4 - Woman of Samaria - Seeing Jesus prophesy into her situation which propelled her into new life and purpose. This world is longing for words of life and we have been given that gift through the Holy Spirit. What would our worlds look if we spoke words of life into it?

Our direction this year is look into our value of being Outward Focused as a church. We started a new series, "Leaving for the 99" in part 1 - talking about leaving home to lead people home. Jesus in John 4 left his home land for the one Samariatan woman who was an outcast. What does it look like to leave home to lead home, how do we do it?

We took a Sunday to talk Vision for 2020. The importance of a name we declare over ourselves and our situations can not overstated. As part of Vision 2020 we shared our potential new church name and focus for the year.

This past Sunday we closed out "Our First Love series with a message “Our Confession” Why is it so important in our lives and keep our first love alive?

This past Sunday Pastor Craig spoke on "Pure Devotion" as we continued "Our First Love Series" sharing from 1 Cor 11:1-15. Our pure devotion must be singular focused. 

Opposite of Faith is not disbelief its certainty. When all we search for is clarity in relationships with God and one another things get weird. Trust causes first love to explode in our lives, but more often we want to control our futures which suffocates our first love. What is God calling us to trust Him for? What does trust cause in my life?
