You don’t have to know everything. You just have to know how to figure it out.
In this episode of Poised in Progress, I’m talking about something that has played a huge role in the way I’ve approached my business, education, and personal goals: being resourceful.
I’ve realized that sometimes the biggest thing standing between us and the next level isn’t a lack of ability—it’s believing we need to have every answer before we’re allowed to start.
I’m sharing some personal stories about applying to nursing school when I wasn’t sure I’d get accepted, pursuing my own business suite when I didn’t have everything figured out financially, learning when to ask for help, and understanding the difference between getting information and actually using it.
We also talk about:
This isn’t about being reckless or blindly going after things.
It’s about doing your research, getting the information you need, making an informed decision, and having enough faith to take the next step—even when you don’t know exactly how everything will work out.
If you’re building a business, pursuing a new career, applying for something you don’t think you’ll get, or simply trying to figure out your next chapter, I hope this episode reminds you that not knowing everything doesn’t mean you’re not ready.
Sometimes, you just need to ask.
Sometimes, you just need to try.
And sometimes, you just need to figure it out as you go.

Your morning routine might be affecting your business more than you realize.
For years, I loved watching “perfect morning routine” videos and wondering if I could create that same structure in my own life.
But eventually, I lost the routine that once made me feel disciplined, focused, and productive.
In this episode of Poised in Progress, I get honest about what happened, how I became too comfortable, and why I struggled to get back to the version of myself who used to thrive on structure.

After realizing I needed to make a change, I started learning more about neuroscience, neuroplasticity, habits, and how the brain responds to the things we repeatedly do. That completely changed the way I approached my mornings.

In this episode, we talk about:
This isn’t a “wake up at 5 AM and become a millionaire” video.
It’s a conversation about creating a morning that helps you actually show up for the life you’re trying to build.
If you’re rebuilding your discipline, growing a business, working toward a big goal, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, I hope this episode gives you something you can actually use.
Welcome back to Poised in Progress. 🤎

Have you ever wondered why you can be motivated for a few days… and then completely fall off?
In this episode of Poised in Progress, we’re talking about consistency—but not in the typical “just work harder” way.
I’ve been studying neuroscience and learning more about neuroplasticity, and it’s completely changed how I think about habits, discipline, and consistency.
In this episode, I break down the strategies I’ve personally been using to train my brain to make consistency feel more natural—from connecting habits to emotion, simplifying the things that feel overwhelming, planning without creating unnecessary pressure, and using accountability to actually follow through.
And I’m sharing real examples from my own life—from getting back into fitness after stepping away from it to staying consistent with my esthetics business and getting back into podcasting.
If you’ve been struggling to stay consistent with your goals, business, fitness, content, or personal growth, this episode is for you.
You don’t necessarily need more motivation. You may need a better way to train your brain.

The Advice That Changed Everything Before I Went Full-Time
For the first time in a few months, I’m finally back behind the microphone.
Taking a break wasn’t easy, but it gave me something I didn’t realize I was missing: clarity. I spent the last few months building my business, preparing for nursing school, and figuring out what I actually want Poised in Progress to be. Now that I’m back, I know exactly who this podcast is for.
If you’ve ever found yourself asking…
…this episode is for you.
Going full-time wasn’t luck, and it definitely wasn’t overnight. It came from changing the way I thought, the habits I built, and the decisions I made every single day.
In this episode, I share some of the biggest mindset shifts that helped me stop treating my business like a side hustle and start building it like my future depended on it. We also talk about why most people stay stuck, how distractions quietly delay your success, and one habit that completely changed the way I show up every day.
Some of these lessons were uncomfortable to learn. Others completely changed how I approach entrepreneurship. Either way, they’re things I wish someone had told me when I was just getting started.
I won’t spoil everything here because I want us to have that conversation together.
If you’re serious about building a business that gives you freedom—not just extra income—I think you’ll take away something valuable from this episode.
🎙️ Listen to the full episode here, and let me know which lesson challenged you the most.
I’d love to hear what part of your journey you’re in and what “going full-time” looks like for you.
See you in the episode,

This episode is both a conversation and a commitment. I’m sharing why I believe some people get ahead because they gave themselves permission to be seen, take risks, and occupy space unapologetically. I’m also stepping into that mindset myself. If you’ve been playing small, waiting, or doubting your place— this episode is your reminder that you don’t need permission to go after what you want.
We all have those weeks where everything feels off—you're overwhelmed, behind, and questioning if you're doing enough. In this episode of Poised in Progress, we’re talking about how to reset after a rough week and shift your perspective when life feels heavy.

Because progress isn’t always loud… sometimes it’s just choosing not to give up.
Feeling lost in your 20s? This episode is for you.
In Part 1 of my 20s Breakdown series, we talked about what a 20s meltdown feels like—the confusion, heartbreak, career setbacks, loneliness, and feeling like life isn’t going how you planned.
Now in Part 2, we’re talking about how to actually rebuild your life while you’re still in the middle of the storm.
In this episode I share:
If you feel behind, stuck, or like life is falling apart right now—this episode is your reminder that your story isn’t over.
