The Power Of Makeup!

This episode is for the makeup girlies. In this episode, I discuss how I've been bullied almost my whole life for my makeup and what doing my makeup means for me.

*Spoiler Alert My own vice principal at my high school bullied me for wearing makeup!

On this first official episode, I decided to give the spotlight to one of my favorite shows Ugly Betty and it's creator Silvio Horta. Silvio Horta was a Cuban American screen writer and producer. Silvio Horta's upbringing inspired Ugly Betty. Ugly Betty was the first show to have a latin family as the main characters and also have LGTBQ characters. Silvio Horta shed the spotlight on topics that were not yet accepted or talked about on the big screen. Ugly Betty And Silvio Horta deserve more recognition for what they did for the Latinx community and LGTBQ. Rest In Peace Silvio Horta. Don't forget to check out Ugly Betty.
