In this episode, we talk about getting college credit for playing Pokémon, go salsa dancing, and compete in a surfing competition.
We give a super late-to-the-party review of Snap! Well, those of us who bought the game that is. Celebrity look-alike returns at the end of this episode!
After a dangerous bout in the Connecting Cave, the party just wants a nice bowl of ramen. Why can't we just have a day off? We can just grab some surfboards and vibe. Who wants to talk to the Officer Jenny? Not this guy.
We continue a spelunking, broadcasting from the roof of the tallest building in Saffron City! The party chases down a fierce opponent to save their little Roggenrola buddy. Do they succeed??? Depends on your expectations. A new show is teased at the end, so I guess you have to stick around for that!!!
We get back into the RPG with some exposition about the nefarious group of Poké-Poachers! After that, the party takes the empty notice board to mean that the GM might be urging them to leave, then an encounter happens that nobody was prepared for. Naming stuff is hard sometimes okay!?
We take a break from the adventure to discuss the games showcased in the Pokémon Presents.
In the real world, we muse about how we're recording a podcast where we talk about Pokémon news less than 24 hours before a big announcement. (We'll talk about our opinions regarding the new games in a later episode)
In the RPG world, the group continues to squeeze more events out of this starter town in true completionist fashion. Eventually the GM will run out of nuggets to hide under every brick, but that's not today! (please send help)
The podcast hosts eagerly vie for a couple sponsors before launching back into the campaign. Plenty of combat this time as we fight some rude trainers on the beach and encounter a fearsome wild Pokémon!
The group gets a mysterious message and decides to lay low for a little while. They talk to a local and agree to help search for a lost friend...
Our group of adventurers get news regarding their families and then decide to make some money the old-fashioned RPG way.
