Welcome to Pokémon GO Podcast! Charles and Joe are back with another fantastic episode. With the US election happening, we can't help but notice that Instinct doesn't even show on the map. All kidding aside, we respect all players regardless of team affiliation. We asked for opinions about Niantic's response to COVID in recent months and el_gringo_suave replied with a scathing review citing Niantic's financial success in 2020 as a reason for them to be more generous. Speaking of their financial success, Niantic has earned over $1 billion in revenue during the first 10 months of 2020. Even though they are making a lot of money, it appears not everyone has been keen to mega evolve their Pokémon. According to a poll on The Silph Road, only 20.6% of players have mega evolved more than twice. We've discussed heavy criticism for the mechanics of mega evolutions in the past and it appears the community is of a similar opinion.
