Welcome to Pokémon GO Podcast! Charles and Joe are back are back from Dragon Con with another fantastic episode! Niantic has met with the task force and come back with an update. The interaction distance has been returned to 80 meters and they have promised to provide monthly posts detailing their goals for the immediate future of the game. They are also planning to meet with the task force regularly. Niantic has been teasing Hoopa's release for a long time and we finally have him in game. Niantic has also dedicated the next couple of months to Hoopa related events. Speaking of events, the Safari Zone events from 2020 that were cancelled have been rescheduled for October/November of this year. That said, ticket holders will not need to travel to specific real world locations to participate though Niantic will be holding real world events for each. October's community day will be Duskull which most players are not super thrilled about; many were hoping Litwick would be the featured Pokémon. All of that incredible content, and of course YOUR feedback and comments!
