Welcome to Pokémon GO Podcast! Charles and Joe may have missed a week, but they are back and better than ever. The Johto event was almost 2 weeks ago and we've seen a mixed reaction to it. Some people really liked it, while others felt it was pretty lackluster. During paid events like this should Niantic crank up the shiny rate to super high levels? Would that make the event better? Or just make shinies lose a bit of value? Niantic has sent us a horde of new Alolan Pokémon. It was pretty nice seeing quite a few shadows on our radar. Niantic seems to be pulling out all the stops to get players playing the way they think the game should be played. They tweaked incense mechanics with very little warning even though they explicitly told us they would give us at least a month's warning. All of that incredible content, and of course YOUR feedback and comments!
