We are back! Sorry, but Kyle was kidnaped by pirates. That is not actually what happened, but we will get into it before talking about how favorite game of 2021: Valheim. This indie darling swept the world by storm last year talking many game-of-the-year accolades. No surprise, this game is amazing, and we talk about all the things we love about it.

Baywatch Nights is a masterpiece of a time capsule that was the nineteen hundred and nineties, and I will hear no slights against it! Seriously, the mysterious nature of this how has catapulted this two season show into meme cult status, but we wanted to understand how this show got made and who it was for. In watching it (all shows up on YouTube) we learned so much about the time period, television, and discovered there was actually some good stuff too. Also, season 2 was a cocaine fueled nightmare that had aliens and the Hoff punches a mummy. When the sun goes down, baby!

College football season is here, and there are fewer things in this world that bring us as much joy (and crushing disappointment) as our favorite sport. Still, for those not part of the college football cult, deep investment in armature sports might seem odd. Sharpen your hammers, it’s time to talk about Thor Four the Thoring. This movie truly is an odd duck. Infused with Taika Waititi energy from start to finish, it’s a little like Ragnarok, but mostly this movie is its own thing for good and ill. GO Fest 2022 is a wrap! We talk about the event, the gameplay, and the people on the show this week. Also, deranged road trippers that we are, our band of 3 drove from Las Vegas to Seattle and back again. We have a lot to say about our journey, but I can sum it up by saying this past week I learned two important things; the unparalleled beauty of the American West and that 1982’s “Gloria” by Laura Branigan slaps.

This show is a throw back to our Pokemon GO roots so we can call it Pokemon GO Radio 281! We are so excited for Pokemon GO Fest 2022 in Seattle this week. Happy Birthday to our homeland this fourth of July. Just like with all family members, there are things we love and things that bring us deep, personal shame. Yet, we take this opportunity to celebrate some interesting American history. Some odd, some heroic, and some stories from the past that are shockingly still familiar. This podcasts celebrates our love of this country and the study of history.

We are back to close out the Obi-Wan series on Disney+. The last 3 episodes were better than the first three, but there was also some strange and confusing choices made along the way. Plus we dive into some easter eggs from other parts of the wider Star Wars canon.
