It's Christmas time here on Polarized and we chose to cover The Green Knight, a medieval fantasy set during the time of King Arthur and his court. We discuss our mutual love affair with A24, veer into Alien territory, and merrily chat about the numerous side missions our main character embarks on.

Santa Claus is real. He goes by the name of Chris and lives in North Peak, Alaska. A child receives a lump of coal as a gift and decides to enact retribution on Santa Claus by hiring a hitman to take him out. Yes this is an actual movie that exists in the world. We have a lively discussion about the events of this bonkers film and hash out why some critics hate it and audiences love it. Critics: 45% Audience: 84%

It is our first time covering a documentary this week and it is also the most polarizing movie we have discussed with an 89 percent differential. Knock Down the House tells the story of four working class women who run for Congress, overcoming adversity to battle powerful political machines in very different American landscapes. With our guest Aaron in tow, we attempt to decipher the causes for the drastic difference in scores on Rotten Tomatoes. We hash out the onslaught of review bombers, wax politcs, and riff about documentaries. Critics: 99% Audience: 10%

We are going on a Soderbergh thrill ride this week with Haywire, an action movie that sees Gina Carano kicking a bevy of booty. Not only do we discuss the polarizing nature of the movie, but also of its lead star and how it might contribute to the low audience score. The Polarized Kingdom is treading into Mel Brooks territory with his '93 parody of Robin Hood starring a primetime Cary Elwes. We start with our weekly weather report, introduce a couple of new segments, and question the binary nature of Rotten Tomatoes. Critics: 40% Audience: 81%

We are strapping in to take a trip with Ace Ventura to Africa in this divisive sequel. It's also a rare chance to have a face to face recording that includes tequila and some reminiscing about our short history as a podcast. Our journey takes us through favorite bits, comparisons to the original, and theories about the polarized score. Critics: 25% Audience: 72%

Polarized is dipping its toe into the Madea-verse this week with Tyler Perry's Diary of a Mad Black Woman. We sift through things like a drug-dealing attorney, multitudes of domestic abuse, and comic relief to rival The Nutty Professor and Big Momma's House. Critics: 16% Audience: 87%

We are wrapping up Spooktober with a movie about horror movies. In Censor, a British film censor links a disturbing horror movie to her sister's mysterious disappearance. Not many people saw this film, but those who did found it polarizing. That's when the beacon was lit and we descended from the Polarized Kingdom to answer the call. Critics: 89% Audience: 58%
