From The Beat is a group of stories that do a beautiful job of communicating the feelings and thoughts that police officers experience while making life and death decisions.  This week, Ash and G read a couple of stories that are inspired by the experiences of the author,  who has been a police officer for over ten years, and have a discussion as to how they make them feel, G from the perspective of an officer and Ashley from the point of a view of a civilian and also from that of someone who is in a relationship with one.
