It can be awkward to talk about socioeconomic disadvantage in polite company. The podcaster discusses strategies that youth can use to spring out of dangerous and impoverished neighborhoods. This podcast is based on personal experience.

An unspoken sentiment is that it can require extraordinary effort to be able to afford to move to safer neighborhoods.

Some would say that instead of leaving disadvantaged neighborhoods, youth should stay and make these neighborhoods better. This podcaster does not argue that position.

I'm fed up with this whole anti-mask sentiment. It is just making this pandemic stretch out longer.
