We would like to welcome our new listeners out there, by doing something special this week and spending a few minutes introducing ourselves and explaining how our show fits in with the events of our time. We started this show long before the occupy movement even existed, and before we get into the occupy news that you've all been asking for, we took a minute to recap the essence of the show by going back a few months ago, where our intent was to bring you a well informed weekly radio show that also included brief civics lessons in politics and how it applied to our constitution. So that being the case, get the pop corn ready... buckle in and lace up those shoes, this is Political Discontent Radio.

Face it... Herman Cain harasses women, Rick Perry can't remember to write answers down on his hands, and Mitt Romney might very well be the Republican nominee for president. On the brighter side, this past week's elections were a victory for early voter registration, collective barganing, and women's rights across the country. Also, after watching the GOP debate this week, we talk foreign policy and the repricutions that would result from a potential war over Iran's nuclear facilities.

Aside from politics as usual... In the second segment of the show, we have a very serious and sobering talk about the increased hostilities and police violence that has erupted around the occupy movement. We feel that at this point, it is at the utmost importance to remind ourselves that this movement MUST remain peaceful before things spiral out of control.

We covered the GOP polls for this week, and the prospects of a Romney / Cain ticket in the 2012 race. We touched on foreign affairs, and as always we covered this weeks developments in the Occupy Movement sweeping America.

We cover the highlights and low-lifes of the GOP debate in Nevada this week. This is where Michele Bachmann decided to speak the truth for 30secs until she realized it wasn't matching the talking points.
