SYNOPSIS:

Maddie and David have decided to give Herbert Viola more responsibility by putting him in charge of more cases. A very feisty Agnes goes to Maddie’s office and tells them both that in those five years, she’s had only one day off and has been late just three times, only one of which was her fault. She has also taken pay cuts in bad times and has never asked for a raise. Maddie and David try to weasel their way out of it by downplaying Herbert’s role.

Margaret Renbourn arrives at Blue Moon to hire the detectives to find proof that her house is haunted. Unbelievably, Maddie and David agree that they should not take this case. Upon hearing this, and without informing her bosses, Agnes decides to take the case on her own. Bert tells Agnes that he didn't just fall off a turnip truck and that he knows what she is up to. Agnes and Bert end up joining forces and solve the case.
