Abraham is known as the "father of faith" because he trusted in God's promises even while being tested through the offering of Isaac, which he did not have to fully go through, that God would even raise him from the dead to fulfill his promises to Abraham. Unlike Abraham, Mary had to go through with seeing her Son dead on the cross and still clinging to the promises of God. Mary is the perfect model of faith and the "mother of faith".
Susan Brinkmann, who currently writes for "Women of Grace", dove deep into the New Age Movement earlier in life. She was involved with using crystals, astrology, and met with various psychics. She later "re-verted" to Catholicism and shares her journey and insights into the New Age perspective.

WARNING: After hearing the historical and Scriptural evidence for the Catholic Church in this episode you will probably want to become Catholic.
This episode is actually the last section of a "mega-episode", episode 61, that I released about a month ago with John DeRosa (Classical Theism podcast) and Pat Flynn (The Pat Flynn Show). The last segment was on evidence for the Catholic Church.
Should we prioritize the young rather than the old if we don't have enough ventilators for those struggling to live through the coronavirus?

Did you know that there are 7 books from the Old Testament that are not found in Protestant Bibles? Why are Catholic Bibles bigger?
Pat and I discuss the canon of Scripture with Gary Michuta from "Hands on Apologetics" who has written several books on this subject. Get his book, "Why Catholic Bibles Are Bigger!"

Our little podcast just turned one! Celebrate with me as I give an update about the podcast and share the letter from St. Ignatius of Antioch to St. Polycarp.
In January of 2020, Eric released an episode on Polycarp's Paradigm (podcast) where he interviewed a friend, Brian, who had been a Christian apologist and is now agnostic. In this episode, Pat Flynn and John DeRosa help Eric tackle some of Brian's objections to belief in God which include: Increasing natural ways of explaining miracles, the moral argument not making sense, and why God would allow animal suffering since they have no free will to sin. Enjoy!
Rachel is currently training to enter the beauty industry as a hair stylist and has a rich philosophical and theological background that has allowed her to grow in a deep understanding of beauty. Join us as we unpack the nature of beauty in relation to human dignity.
Pat, who used to be an atheist, gives arguments for God's existence. John, who grew up Catholic, but underwent some skepticism, shares evidence for Jesus and his Resurrection. Eric, who used to be Protestant, shares arguments for Jesus starting the Catholic Church and calling all Christians into it. Enjoy!
