Hello and welcome to Your Greek Word On A Sunday, a weekly, bite-size podcast for anyone curious on language, etymology and connections. I am your host, Emmanuela Lia and wherever you are in the world, if you want to entertain your brain for a few minutes, this is the podcast for you. Let's Go!

Welcome to the last episode for this season! I decided to leave you with a word that reflects our listeners this year who are based all over the globe. From Russia to Canada and so many countries in between thank you for listening, subscribing and sharing! We’ll  be back for our fifth season in the Autumn.

Poly means much/many when combined with another word it multiplies it. Glossa in modern greek and glotta in ancient means tongue/language . A person that speaks many languages is called ΠΟΛΥΓΛΩΣΣΟΣ/POLYGLOT
