Starting out our Murderous Mothers month, we study the case of Pom Pom Mom, Wanda Holloway. In a case stranger than fiction, we explore Wanda's obsession with cheerleading and living vicariously through her daughter, Shanna. Wanda never got to be a cheerleader because of her strict upbringing. But things would be different for Shanna! Until a rival made the team. Driven to darkness, Wanda tried to put out a hit on one of her daughter's classmate (and the girl's mother) to advance Shanna's cheerleading career.
