In this episode I ask us to consider how we view people. We are called to love our neighbor-aka everyone-and in the beginning of the Bible it tells us everyone, is made in the image of God. Do we really view everyone that way?

Christians use the word, "hope" a lot. I wonder if it does not mean what we think it means sometimes. I also think that at times, it gives us a way out of things, or it opens us up to not truly believing in something.
"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means." -Princess Bride

In this episode we look at the parable of the Pharisee and the Tax collector. In this there is a great question, do we think more highly of ourselves than our fellow peoples? Where does this play out? In our lives, our actions, words and prayers? Come listen and let me know what you think.

For those celebrating thanksgiving today, happy thanksgiving. For those elsewhere in the world, I also wish you a happy thanksgiving. With that I challenge you all to consider what thanksgiving is, and is it just a season? Is it something that is just lip service to God and those around us? Or are we truly thankful in the way we go through life? Come listen to hear more about my thoughts on this. Then let me know what you think!

Do we desire God? We sometimes don't think about what all little aspects of our lives convey about our relationships. When we think about our relationship with God, do we actually want a wholistic relationship?

In this episode I ask the question, what are we doing? What are we working towards? While these are both simple and complex questions, they are important for whatever it is that we are doing in this life. Come along as I share my pondering from this week and wonder, what is the point and where are we going?
