In this episode I go over Karen Houle's article "Animal, Vegetable, Mineral: Ethics as Extension or Becoming? The Case of Becoming-Plant". In this article she talks about how philosophical conversations have been primarily human and animal centered. She invites us to pay attention to and engage with the vegetal realm, which encompasses the environments we are situated in, the producers of the air we breathe, and the societies of microorganisms that constitute our human body.
