This week Valerie, Angela and Tatiana tackle all things Disney, which of course includes Star Wars and Marvel. First, we deal with the Ralph Breaks the Internet and the restoration of Princess Tiana's skin tone (0:30), then we talk about Star Wars slowing down (5:20). Kevin Feige will be taking charge of X-Men and Fantastic Four (15:00), which of course leads us to Avengers 4 spoilers and theories (20:00). Next up is assorted Disney and Marvel news, including the fact that Chloe Zhao will be directing the Eternals movie (30:00). Finally, we gush about the Captain Marvel trailer for the rest of the podcast (42:20).

We got a bunch of movie and TV news this week and most of it was a big ol' mess. But first Valerie, Tatiana and Angela do our first feedback section (2:00). Then we deal with Henry Cavill leaving Superman behind (4:50), American Gods Season 2 looking grim (20:20), as well as more information on Venom, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and His Dark Materials (32:45, except the last one's not a mess at all!). Moving onto more composed topics, Valerie gives her review of Hulu's The First (48:50) while Tatiana and Angela debut The Krama Corner (1:06:45) with discussion of the recently concluded My ID is Gangnam Beauty, the long-concluded Wok of Love and the newborn baby that is 100 Days My Prince. Then, amidst discussion of European Netflix, Angela recommends the German film SMS für Dich (47:50) while Tatiana recommends the Chinese drama Meteor Garden (55:40). Speaking of Netflix, we wonder about Noah Centineo's massive popularity in comparison to his leading ladies (1:08:20) before celebrating the recent success of Asian representation in film (1:21:50).

It's Netflix versus the Worlds of DC UNIVERSE on Pop A La Carte this week. Valerie and Tatiana discuss a little bit of Star Wars casting (1:05) before getting into the meat of DC's new streaming service (9:10, with a drive-by conversation about Marvel because how could we no?) as well as the delusions of fandom (35:00). Then we review and recommend a bunch of Netflix Originals for your viewing pleasure - The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, To All The Boys I've Loved Before, House of Flowers, and Switched (55:15).

Valerie, Angela and Tatiana deal with a lot of nostalgia this week. First, there's the Veronica Mars revival (0:56) that's on the table. Then we take a walk down DCTV Arrowverse lane as we compare the recent news to previous crossovers (8:06). We also engage in an in-depth discussion of
Crazy Rich Asians, with some bonus To All The Boys I've Loved Before talk which totally justifies this week's title (30:00). Next, we compare the recently-concluded Korean remake of Life on Mars with the British original (51:40) before introducing an upcoming segment called Nostalgia With An Accent, all about past foreign shows and films. Finally, Angela recommends an Isreali romcom called Beauty and the Baker (1:09:40).

Valerie, Tatiana, Jessica and Angela discuss the recent trailers and announcements for the American remake of a Korean variety show, The Masked Singer (1:00) as well as Apple TV trying its hand at adapting Min Jin Lee's novel Pachinko into a series (10:00). We then take turns reviewing Spike Lee's BlacKkKlansman (20:30), National Geographic's upcoming documentary Science Fair (32:00), and Netflix's original Japanese drama Switched (41:50). Finally we laugh and/or shake our heads at the various changes the Academy has made to the Oscars ceremony in the hopes of escaping inevitable oblivion (50:30).
