  • The Anniversary Brothers Podcast: Inception 10th Anniversary
Aaron and Josh Sarnecky are joined by Editor-in-Chief Bill Bodkin for their podcast on Inception's 10th anniversary.
Inception debuted in theaters on July 16th, 2010. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Dom Cobb, a thief who steals secrets from people's minds instead tasked with planting an idea in someone's head. The film stars an ensemble cast, featuring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, Ken Watanabe, Tom Hardy, and Dileep Rao as Cobb's team. The target is played by Cillian Murphy while Tom Berenger plays Murphy's business confidant. Rounding out the cast is Marion Cotillard as Cobb's wife and Michael Caine as his mentor and father-in-law.
Inception garnered critical acclaim and was a box office mega-hit, raking in $828 million. It earned eight Oscar nominations, including Best Original Screenplay and Best Picture. It won for Sound Mixing, Sound Editing, Visual Effects, and Cinematography.
Aaron, Josh, and Bill go over the movie's elements, including the plot, the characters, the action, and the score. The trio also discuss their interpretations of Inception's famously ambiguous ending.

  • Pod on the Rooftop Episode 1: In the Beginning...
Pod on the Rooftops is a new podcast miniseries that delves into the discography of British rock band Genesis, from 1969 to 1997.
Hosted by three buddies with a mutual love for all things Banks, Collins, Gabriel, Hackett, and Rutherford (and occasionally Phillips and Wilson), this series showcases the varied tastes and flavors of the band over the years…to say nothing of the varied opinions of the hosts.
In the premiere episode, Justin Mancini of the Cinema Joes podcast is joined by fellow Cinema Joes host Noah Franc, as well as Noah’s brother Luke Franc, bona fide scholar and drummer. They discuss the roadmap for subsequent episodes, before recounting each of their unique paths to discovering the lads from Charterhouse. And of course, they explain why they love the band enough to start a podcast about them.
Subsequent episodes will involve discussions of all of Genesis’s studio albums, extended plays, and select live albums. For every studio release, each host will select an underrated track, an overrated track (to bring the gods down to earth, of course), a favorite lyric, and a favorite musical moment.
If you’re the kind of Genesis devotee who debates the highs and lows of Genesis’s prog excesses and pop sensibilities, this is a podcast for you. Likewise, if you’re totally new to the band and don’t know a Squonk from a Slipperman, we hope this podcast will encourage you to discover the riches that await you in the Genesis canon.

  • The Anniversary Brothers: The LOST Finale's 10th Anniversary
Believe it or not, it’s been 10 years since Lost ended. To celebrate, brothers Aaron and Josh Sarnecky are going back to the island and reexamining the series finale.
Lost ran for six seasons on ABC, from September 22, 2004 to May 23, 2010. The series centered on the survivors of plane crash stranded on a mysterious island. It featured an ensemble cast that included Matthew Fox, Terry O’Quinn, Evangeline Lilly, Josh Holloway, Jorge Garcia, Michael Emerson, Henry Ian Cusick, and many, many more. Lost took the world by storm during its first season, winning the Emmy for Best Drama, unheard of for a sci-fi show at the time. But while the show as a whole was beloved, the response to the series finale was much more mixed.
“The End” is still one of the most divisive series finales of all time. 10 years later, while some fans love the finale, many viewers consider it to be among the worst endings ever. Hecklers even drove Lost showrunner Damon Lindelof from Twitter after the acclaimed final episode of Breaking Bad aired.
A year after the similarly controversial Game of Thrones ending, now seems like as good a time as any to revisit Lost.
Aaron and Josh go over their history with the series, what their reactions to “The End” initially were, and how rewatching it has informed their opinion of it. The two also discuss the lesser known epilogue found on DVD and Blu-ray, as well as the legacy of the show as a whole.
For more podcasts, you can listen to them talk about The Shining for its 40th anniversary.
The BreakCast is available on SoundCloud and Apple Podcasts.
All six seasons of Lost are currently streaming on Hulu.
