In this episode of Pop Culture Leftovers Brian is joined by friends of the podcast Eric Wade and Jacob Harman.  We have a ton to talk about in this episode.  In this episode we’re going to be breaking down the new Venom trailer that dropped as well as the Super Bowl Avengers Infinity War trailer.  We’ll talk about a couple of new Amazon shows that we could be seeing soon.  One is a Conan the Barbarian tv show and the other is a Western tv series called Outrider that stars former a Conan, Arnold Schwarzenegger.  Alex Garland the director for both Ex Machina and Annihilation is working on a tv series for FX.  And we’ll be talking about some Shazam news in DC as well as Joaquin Phoenix agrees to play the Joker in Todd Phillips Joker origin film.  Also, Brian discusses the new horror film on Netflix The Ritual from producer Andy Serkis.  We discuss a ton of other crap too in this time stamp-less episode.

We recorded this episode on Super Bowl Sunday and there were tons of trailers dropping and it was pretty crazy.    Moments before recording they released the first Solo A Star Wars Story trailer.  At the time of this recording the second full length trailer had not been released yet.  Mission Impossible: Fallout trailer also dropped, pun intended.  We also talk about The Cloverfield Paradox being released on Netflix not in April as suspected but on, you guessed it, Super Bowl Sunday!  And the Cloverfield news doesn’t stop there.  We have confirmation of a film we talked about months ago being in fact another Cloverfield movie.   In Good Pop Bad Pop we talk about our experience with Netflix’s new series Altered Carbon based off of the Richard Morgan book.  Rebekah talks about her experience watching the anime A Silent Voice.  Brian and Rebekah both talked about Viceland Network’s new show Slutever.   Jake talks about a new gambling focused anime he’s been watching.  We also talk about the Ant-Man and the Wasp trailer that dropped this week as well as the reactions to the Black Panther World Premiere.
