Movie: The Final Year (2017):

This week Jack struggles through watching the final year of the Obama administration and re-living his experience of learning about Trump's 2016 victory. Meanwhile, Diarmuid talks about virtual reality in the European Parliament and John Kerry's love of activism and opera.

Diarmuid and Jack talk about Adam McKay's 2015 movie, The Big Short, in this inaugural podcast. Also lots of tangents about things like Irish history and how Europe has (hopefully) learned from the events portrayed in this movie in their response to the economic impacts of the pandemic. Enjoy!
