Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni are making headlines, but not for their performances in “It Ends With Us.” We are breaking down the mess and going over Lively’s recently filed lawsuit against Baldoni in this live stream.
Disclaimer for Podcast Episode :
The California Civil Rights Department, where Lively filed her complaint, has 60 days to determine whether they will investigate the case. According to legal expert Doll, the department may first attempt to mediate a resolution between Lively, Baldoni, and Wayfarer Studios, whom Lively is also suing.
If no settlement is reached, the department would issue a "right to sue" letter, allowing Lively to proceed with her claim in court. While settlements are common in Hollywood, this particular complaint could go possibly go to trial due to the nature of the allegations.
Baldoni was dropped by WME, his agency, following the lawsuit.
