The election of Peruvian-American Cardinal Robert Prevost as Pope Leo XIV is a fresh start for the Vatican. Or is it? 

An early test of whether this papacy will amount to more of the same will be if the new pontiff continues the worst legacy of Pope Francis – namely, his toxic secret deal with the Chinese Communist Party.
