Jamie Finn Co-founder and President of Securitize joined us at the recent Start Engine Summit in LA to share his thoughts on digital securities and the mission of Securitize. Jamie has an impressive record of managing and spotting innovative trends in tech. Prior to founding Securitize, he ran innovation and data for numerous large global Telco’s and led the acquisition of several companies for Sequoia Israel.

We recently had the opportunity to speak with Ori Brafman author of The Starfish and the Spider and lecturer at UC Berkeley’s business school.  The book has been a big influence on the new wave of blockchain businesses inspired by the unique differentiators a decentralized organizational structure can offer. The name of the Starfish Mission, where we recorded our conversation is even inspired by his book, which is a collaborative workspace for SF based companies in the blockchain space.

The network was ready when college students flooded into the marketplace seeking knowledge about how blockchain was changing the world.
