At around 12AM Monday, Amazon Web Services — the largest seller of rented computing power — was knocked knocked offline at their most important data center region. This caused cascading effects across the US and the globe, taking out popular apps, websites and services from Fortnite, to Ticketmaster, Starbucks, and SnapChat.
