  • Contraception & Assisted Reproduction: Right or Wrong?
We come this morning to the sermon you've all been waiting for: What is forbidden in the seventh commandment. All you have to do to see an instance of something forbidden in the seventh commandment is to walk around town, or turn on the television. We are surrounded by the breach of this one; we ourselves, and our fellow Americans, truly have eyes full of adultery and cannot cease from sin. In Hell, everything is pornographic and nothing is exciting. So says Peter Kreeft, and he is exactly right. Precisely because this commandment is so big, and we are so sexually broken, there are many ways to organize it. I have chosen to present it under the three headings of sins against providence, sins against love, and sins against life. All of these sins, particularly in their sexual dimension, are violations of this commandment. And if, like me, you have broken this commandment many times, don't despair. God is a cleansing, forgiving God. Trust Him for salvation from sin, also from sexual sin.

  • Douglas Wilson's False Gospel & Perversion
Douglas Wilson is a popular pastor, theologian, and author. He has many friends in the Biblical, Reformed, G3 Conference, Shepherds' Conference, Evangelical world. He's considered a champion of Biblical truth and Reformed/Protestant Christianity by many. He is not. Douglas Wilson is a false teacher. He's a counter-reformer and an enemy of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He teaches that Catholics are his brothers and sisters in Christ. He says Catholics are participants in the New Covenant, but not necessarily regenerate or born again. That is a Biblical and theological impossibility (Jer. 31:31-34). He declares Catholics to be saved by faith alone despite the fact that they reject salvation by faith alone and participate in a system of sacramental works righteousness that blasphemes Christ's tetelestai. Douglas Wilson has "a different gospel, which is not another" (Gal. 1:6-9). He declares the premier Roman Catholic apologist, G.K. Chesterton, to be saved despite his ardent adherence to and defense of soul damning Catholic heresy because in Doug's estimation (contrary to Scripture) Chesterton yet evidenced the grace of God and Holy Spirit at work in his life. Wilson dogmatically says he's not going to make it to Heaven if G.K. Chesterton (Catholic Apologist), J.R.R. Tolkien (Catholic), and C.S. Lewis (Pseudo-Catholic, mystic, pagan) didn't make it to Heaven. In addition to Wilson's false teaching regarding salvation…he's a consistently profane and immoral man who enjoys using highly sexualized (sometimes pornographic) illustrations, imagery, terms, and demeaning slurs toward women. I pray Christ's men will stand up, defend the Gospel, defend women, and protect the Church.

  • Military COVID Shot Mandates/SCOTUS Nominee Vote
As COVID infections and hospitalizations continue on a downward trend, the mandates for receiving the vaccines continue to affect members of our military. Also, this broadcast brought news concerning the upcoming vote for Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson. Returning to Crosstalk to address these issues was Mat Staver. Matt is the founder & chairman of Liberty Counsel. Mat is a constitutional attorney with hundreds of published legal opinions. He has authored a number of scholarly law review publications and numerous books. He's filed numerous briefs and argued in many federal and state courts and before the U.S. Supreme Court. While COVID mandates/the military and the Supreme Court were the main topics, Jim and Mat opened the program remembering Terri Schiavo who made national news when on March 31 of 2005, her life was excruciatingly taken by means of starvation and dehydration in Florida. On Monday the 4th, the Senate Judiciary Committee will convene and take up the nomination for Ketanji Brown Jackson who would be replacing the retiring Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer. Jackson thus far has not been able to define what a woman is, she doesn't know when life begins and she's been lenient on child pornographers. Mat believes she doesn't deserve to be on the court as her judicial philosophy is not one of original intent but more related to activism. The case of Navy Seal 1 v. Austin, deals with anyone in the various branches of the military that have submitted religious objection requests to the COVID vaccines mandates that have been imposed by President Biden and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.
