Many parents know the heartache that is felt when a son or a daughter goes astray. Many a silent tear is shed and many a sleepless night is experienced. When a daughter goes astray and falls into deep sin, there is only one answer, Christ is the answer. Bring that wayward child to the Lord in prayer, and see what the Lord is able to do.

During His public ministry, the Lord always had large crowds of people surrounding Him. Yet, when a woman who was just a face in the crowd touched the hem of His garment, the Saviour knew who had touched Him. That touch meant her healing, and from being a face in the crowd, she became one of the Lord-s own.

The Lord made it clear, when speaking about prayer, that prayer would only be answered if the one praying was abiding in Him.

There is no Friend like Christ, who gave His life for His friends.

When we seek the face of God in prayer, how often do we think about God being glorified in and through the answer- Yet, the Saviour has told us that He will answer our prayers that the Father May be glorified.

During His earthly ministry, the Saviour met all kinds of people with different afflictions. All who came to Him for healing, were made whole, including a man who was known for his fierceness and his madness. But the Saviour by the power of His word, brought peace and rest to one who had been a madman.

The Lord Jesus Christ, had a loving and compassionate heart. He looked upon the needy with compassion, putting forth His miracle working power transforming them, giving them a new life to live and reason for living.

When we come before our God in prayer, we should always remember that He is ready and willing to answer our prayers, and to give us much more than what we ask for. Our Heavenly Father is generous in His giving.

The dear Saviour was always ready to show mercy to the needy. Many who came across His path, as He made His way to Calvary, we-re miserable wretches, but their lives were changed when Christ showed them mercy and healed them.

Our God is good, gracious and generous to all of His people. It is good to remember this when we bow before Him in prayer. He is not reluctant to answer our prayers but is not only willing, He is ready to give more than we ask for, He is indeed a generous God.
