Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law.

Whatever we endeavor to do or are carrying out without the essence of vision will eventually fade away. Vision is a necessity to our spiritual engagement. Many have stepped into the place of prayer with the tag of some temporary request without a deep sense of the visionary spirit to remain standing on the watch of prayer. When we live by vision, particularly, in the place of prayer, we are not moved by how we often feel, we step into the area of divine responsibility to pray until something happens. When vision drives what we do, we are restrained by our attitude, behavior, and actions.

We need vision to effectively and successfully execute our mandate in intercession. Vision is what maintains our stand when everything and everyone is collapsing around. We need to be certain of what the Father has spoken to us so we can maintain and retain our post on the wall.

Once again, Nehemiah shows us how to enforce the power of vision in prayer so we can eventually be launched into the arena where we become a catalyst of change. We need to allow the Holy Spirit to birth within our hearts the heavenly vision of God for our families, communities, and cities, then, we can receive the right attitude of waiting and continuing to pray even when we are faced with resistance and opposition. This teaching is designed to motivate us to push into that realm where we are impregnated with the vision for our society in the place of prayer. Prayer becomes more interesting, motivating and encouraging when it is done through the power of a visionary spirit.

A PROPHETIC IMPARTED PRAYER TIME

Sometimes, the Lord stirs our heart in intercession to bring forth his intentions through our prayer This kind of prayer does not have a specific format than to just bring forth the longing of the Father for that moment or season time. This kind of prayer is often done through a deep burden of the Spirit; a burden that is fan through what can be called the cry of the Spirit.

The Father will usually use scripture or an inspiring word to motivate or create a spiritual cloud that will plunge us in the place of prayer. Usually, this prayer will lead to the release of governmental utterance that gives clarity and direction. Whenever the Lord calls or pulls our attention into this mode of intercession, we need to know how to adjust ourselves in response so we can pray accordingly. This kind of prayer will always leave us more spiritually enriched and empowered in our understanding of the things of God. The kind of prayer I call being awakened in the Spirit of intercession

We are living in days of biblical prophecies being fulfilled before our very eyes, and we need to be well-positioned in the Spirit to welcome these fulfillments without fear. As intercessors, we have lots of responsibility to carry out in relating to praying, preparing, and protecting societies from some of the dangerous attacks that will be unfolding through the manifestation of the last day's Satanic attacks. We need to have more advanced knowledge of what spiritual warfare is; we need to update our revelatory knowledge of spiritual activity shaping the landscape of the 21st-century society.

We are toadying seeing plagues and all types of diseases being weaponized; virus plaguing society, and we should be spiritually equipped and informed regarding how to stop these plagues from coming near our people and families. We should also be aware of the kind of lifestyle needed to keep ourselves and the community under the protection of the Father’s care. We don’t want to live our lives in a manner that gives the enemy the advantage to invade or infiltrate our space. It's time to pray for divine protection and safety.

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2

The benefit of God waking up early to seek the face of your heavenly Father is just too awesome to begin to comprehend. Unfortunately, only a few have been truly awakened to this spiritual truth. When we are awakened to the reality of what we become in the place of prayer, our attitude to the ministry of praying will drastically change. But even this we will need the assistance of the Holy Spirit to work in our hearts to see it.

There’s nothing we have or possess that did not come from above; all our desire, aspiration and passion comes from the Lord. We have no power or wisdom to do or become anything, regardless of the knowledge or skill acquired that can give us some advantage without the direct involvement of God. Each day is an opportunity to learn anew from him, to listen to his voice, especially in the place of prayer, and this will set out the day for us.

Becoming an instrument in the hand of the Lord begins in the place of prayer and contemplation; a place where you learn to listen and hear how your day will pan out. There will be many that will be waiting for you today, waiting for your assistance, encouragement, and spiritual guidance. Yet, if you’ve not spent the time to hear the voice of the Father, how do you reach out to these people, particularly in your space of work?

People hardly leave their challenges at home as it is presumed; people carry their problems to work because their challenge is part of their emotions and state of mind. People's wellbeing starts with the wellness of their mind and spirit. It’s time to develop a different objective for praying; when you wake up in the morning, please realize why you’re awake, so you can see the need to talk to him who never sleeps nor slumber.

Taking a firm stand in the execution of our assignment is an important part of carrying out the mandate of heaven, especially in these days of high resistance. It’s no secret that the enemy will challenge our position in trying to repair the broken-down walls and burnt gates of our lives and communities. One of the graces we need to receive in compliment to our calling is to learn to stand firm against the harassment of the enemy.  We should never allow the powers of darkness to hinder us from stepping into the arena of the mission we’ve been sent. Having done all to stand, we are told that we should take our stand. Nehemiah 2:19-20

THE PLACE OF IMPORTANCE OF GATES IN OUR LIVES AND SOCIETY. 

NEHEMIAH 2:17,18

Then I said to them, “You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been burned with fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, and we will no longer be in disgrace.” I also told them about the gracious hand of my God on me and what the king had said to me. They replied, “Let us start rebuilding.” So they began this good work.

Now we see Nehemiah begin the process of examining the broken walls and burnt gates of Jerusalem as a preparatory plan to sell the vision of reconstruction to the various leadership stakeholders in Jerusalem.  This is an important principle being played out. Regardless of how zealous and passionate we desire to carry out an assignment, if we cannot convince others to see the need to corporate and support what we've been assigned by heaven, the mandate might be delayed.

Strategy plays a significant part in the fulfillment of our prophetic mandate. It’s not enough to have the calling or vision to carry out a divine assignment, we also need to be highly strategic in the expression and fulfillment of our calling. The wisdom Nehemiah displayed points a critical concept in managing how to step towards the field of our assignment. In this session of our training, we see how Nehemiah approached and examined the broken walls and burnt gates of Jerusalem.

We only begin to find and feel the reality of God's presence, purpose and intent for our lives when we’ve developed what I call the consistency of seeking.  We cannot find or know the reality of the Father, we an attitude that is not willing to go all the way.

Until the things of heaven fully captivate our attention, desire, and passion, I am afraid, we will not have all of God’s reality in our life’s experience. Anyone who wishes to engage in the things of the Father should be rightfully informed that he does not accept partial commitment; he will not reveal himself to anyone who is not ready to pay the price of seeking him diligently with all their heart.

Spiritual things, particularly, the ones that deal with getting to know and understand the ways of the Lord require a certain position, attitude, or configuration of the heart. The father does not want to be an afterthought in our lives. Christ does not desire to have half part of you while the rest of your passion is given to some other thing.

PSALM 27: 3-4

Though an army encamps around me, my heart will not fear; though a war breaks out against me, I will keep my trust. One thing I have asked of the LORD, this is what I desire: to dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and seek Him in His temple.
