I've wanted to start a YouTube channel since I was nine years old. A decade later, I've finally uploaded my first video! Here's why I decided to start, my love for YouTube, and the motto that's encouraging me to stop waiting for perfection and just begin.

Episode Summary
So... I've started a YouTube channel!
I've wanted to start a YouTube channel since I was nine years old, so finally uploading my first video feels pretty surreal. In this episode, I talk about my long-standing love for YouTube, how the platform introduced me to motivational speeches and played a part in my personal development journey, and why I've decided to start creating my own content.
I share a motto I've recently started repeating to myself: “Fail fast, to succeed faster.” We discuss why starting sooner gives us more opportunities to learn from our mistakes, and how this mindset encourages me to take action even when circumstances aren't perfect.
My YouTube channel will focus on topics I already explore on Pose and Purpose, including personal development, fashion, motivation, and lifestyle. I'll also be bringing my YouTube videos onto the podcast, so you can listen to them here and, if you're using Spotify, watch them too!
My first YouTube video is called “You Can Change Your Life.” You can find the link below.

Putting effort into your appearance isn't about seeking validation — it's about showing yourself that you value, respect, and care for yourself.
__
Episode Summary
In this episode of Pose and Purpose, I share my perspective on why putting effort into your appearance matters — not because your appearance determines your worth or because you should seek validation from others, but because taking care of how you present yourself can be an act of self-respect, self-love, and intentionality.
We explore why caring about our appearance is often associated with vanity, and why I don't believe there is anything wrong with enjoying beauty, fashion, elegance, and simply wanting to feel good in how you look.
I also discuss how experimenting with your appearance can help build confidence and develop your personal style identity, especially if you struggle with insecurity. Putting effort into yourself doesn't have to mean spending lots of money — it can be as simple as taking care of your hygiene, wearing clean and well-fitting clothes, caring for your belongings, and creating an environment that makes you feel good.
Ultimately, this isn't about competing with others or becoming the most beautiful person in the room. It's about showing up as someone who values themselves, while remembering that everyone else deserves that same respect too.

What happens when the motivation to work harder becomes the reason you're afraid to rest? In this episode, I reflect on my changing perspective on hustle culture, motivational content, and what experiencing burnout has taught me about balance.
__
Episode Summary
In this episode of Pose and Purpose™, I reflect on my changing perspective on hustle culture, motivational content, and the mentality of constantly working harder.
I've always been a huge fan of motivational content, particularly YouTube motivational speeches and motivational quotes. I share why this type of content has been such a significant part of my self-development journey, while also discussing how my recent experience with burnout has made me look at some of these messages differently.
I talk about motivational content centred around messages such as “OUTWORK EVERYONE,” “WORK IN SILENCE,” “NOBODY CARES,” and “WORK HARDER.” While these messages can be motivating in the short term, I've realised that constantly consuming this mentality can become difficult in the long term when you begin to fear rest and feel like it's always time to work, work, work.
I also reflect on my love of male motivational content and its more masculine energy, while acknowledging that some of these messages may have contributed to my burnout. I share why I'm not blaming motivational content for my burnout, but am instead becoming more aware of the type of motivational content I choose to consume.
__
Key Takeaways
• Motivational content can be powerful, but its impact can differ in the short and long term.• Constantly consuming “work harder” messages can contribute to a fear of rest.• Rest and self-care are essential to producing your finest work.• You don't have to reject ambition or motivation to create more balance.• Becoming aware of the content you consume is key• This is simply my perspective and my experience with hustle culture and burnout.

Disclaimer
This episode reflects my personal experience and perspective. I am not blaming motivational speeches, creators, or motivational content for my experience with burnout. Motivational content was, and still is, a massive positive influence on my personal development journey. RECOVERED EPISODE: Looking back over the past three years, I realised my growth wasn't random. These are the 12 stages I've personally moved through— and the lessons I've learnt along the way.
__
Episode Summary
After reflecting on more than three years of personal growth, I began to notice recurring patterns throughout my journey. Although I wasn't trying to create a framework, I realised I had naturally moved through different stages, each building upon the last and shaping who I am today.
From discovering motivational content and experimenting with new habits, to exploring spirituality, beginning my healing journey, developing discipline, refining my personal style, embracing elegance, focusing on my career, and ultimately returning to myself through slow living after burnout, I reflect on the stages that have defined my experience so far.
Throughout the episode, I explain how many of these stages overlap and continue throughout life, why there is no "perfect" order to personal growth, and why everyone's journey will look different.
These are not universal stages—they are simply the stages I've personally experienced since beginning my self-development journey in 2023. My hope is that this episode encourages you to reflect on your own journey, recognise how far you've come, and appreciate that growth looks different for everyone.

RECOVERED EPISODE: Self-development looks different for everyone. Today, I share what self-development really means to me, why it's about becoming more yourself—not somebody else.
__
Episode Summary
In this episode of Pose and Purpose™, I share my personal perspective on what self-development really means after more than 3 years on my own growth journey.
I discuss why I no longer fully resonate with the term self-improvement, why purpose is essential for lasting change, and why personal growth is about healing and becoming more of who you truly are—not striving for perfection.
I also explore some of the biggest misconceptions surrounding self-development and share eight universal stages of growth that many people may experience, from the initial wake-up call and taking responsibility to navigating loneliness, self-doubt, resilience, and recognising that growth is a lifelong journey.
My hope is that this episode encourages you to reflect on your own journey and where you may currently be in your personal growth.

June 25, 2026 episode
RECOVERED EPISODE: Purpose gives life meaning—and pursuing both yourself and your passions can transform the way you experience life.
__
Episode Summary
In this episode of Pose and Purpose™, I explore the idea of purpose and what it truly means to pursue yourself and your dreams.
Inspired by a conversation between Emma Grede and Mel Robbins on The Mel Robbins Podcast, I reflect on how humans need purpose — a reason to wake up in the morning and truly feel alive, not just exist.
I speak about rediscovering ourselves, reconnecting with our inner child, and learning to fall in love with ourselves again after years of comparison, self-neglect, and outside influences shaping who we think we are.
This episode also dives into mindset, perception, and how the stories we create in our minds shape the lives we experience. I share why pursuing both yourself and your passions can create a more meaningful life and how balancing self-growth with purpose-driven goals can help us become better people.
By the end of this episode, I hope you feel inspired to pursue what lights you up, trust yourself more deeply, and create a life that feels meaningful to you.
