Today we will begin our study of the 23rdPsalm. Before I get there, I want to talk a bit about the author. You likely remember the story of David and Goliath. As the story unfolds Goliath had the army of Israel paralyzed with fear.

I want to always agree with the Psalmist who wrote in Psalm 118:24 – THIS IS THE DAY THAT THE LORD HAS MADE; LET US REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT. Did you wake up today with that in your heart? That is how I want to be every day.

Religious but not spiritual. This condition of being Religious but not spiritual is not a new phenomenon. It is as old as time.

People say of their loved ones, THEY WERE SPIRITUAL BUT NOT RELIGIOUS. Spiritual but not religious. Today I want to tell you how I interpret that phrase. To me, another way to say spiritual but not religious is DISOBEDIENT YET HOPEFUL.

The word OVERWHELMED . . . Do you ever feel that way? I knew the answer before I asked the question. Of course, you do. Today I want to talk about how to stay above water, or how to sink. It is our choice, isn’t it?

New Years is always a pivotal moment for me. As the calendar turns many of us will make resolutions. Many will map out the year ahead as best they can. For 2023, I resolve to Stay Positive in this negative world. Will you join me?

No matter what happens or what situation you find yourself in, just KEEP ON SINGING!  Merry Christmas.
