As a boy I liked watching movies where the cavalry would come to the rescue. At least 1000 years before Jesus was born, we read of

a child who came into this world to rescue God’s people from captivity. Today we are going to look at the life of Samson.

Perhaps you drive miles out of the way to eat at a favorite spot. Today as we

continue in our study of the seven deadly sins, we will look at the sin of

GLUTTONY.

Today we have made it to the fifth of the seven deadly sins. Envy. Envy is the desire to have what another person has. It is

not simply wanting to have the same kind of thing the other person has. YOU WANT WHAT IS THEIRS.

Today we continue in our study of the seven deadly sins. Thus far we have looked at SLOTH, LUST, and ANGER. Today we will look at PRIDE. Pride is the attitude that YOU are the center of the universe. Pride is arrogance and conceit. Pride is the opposite of humility. Pride is so dangerous because it keeps you from God.
