Currently, all LSU Greek activities have been suspended following the death of 18 year old Phi Delta Theta prospective member Maxwell Gruver. Many Greek members find this unfair, as they were unaffiliated with this unfortunate tragedy. But, could such a suspension encourage self-policing and positive peer pressure to stop hazing, and ultimately be beneficial for not only Greek culture, but the student body as a whole?
