It's a new year so what do you think we got on the agenda for this episode? Of course....our 2023 goals! We also rip off a segment from Nic D & Cakes' podcast where we have a draft for things we'd like to have on a concert day (think like fantasy football draft but with concerts). If you still don't understand, just listen to get the idea, ja feel? Jess also talks how she did karaoke and loved it, they reminisce about old concert memories from seeing A Great Big World and Matt Nathanson, and who we'd like to see live in 2023 that we haven't seen before.
Psst...this is also our 50th episode. Lets cheer to that!
Join Meg & Jess in celebrating their 2 year anniversary of doing this podcast. It has been a wonderful 2 years and many more to come. On today's episode, they discuss their favorite Christmas song & album, latest shows they've attended (a comedy show included), and your go to Touch Tunes songs. Jess also surprises Meg with her Christmas gift..tune in to find out what it is. Cal Scruby also dropped an album called Casino and they give their thoughts on it as well as discuss what aisle you'd pick someone up in a grocery store (they want to know your answer, go to the instagram to let them know: @postconcertdepressionpodcast). Lastly, Jess has a MAJOR show in her future & you will have to listen to find out who it is.
Meg & Jess have loads of opinions and post concert recaps on this episode. They also talk about how they used to drive to out of state shows during the week, see the show, wait after to meet artist, drive back and go to work the next day. They also talk what artists they would try to get front row for these days. The big topic of discussion is the fiasco that was getting tickets for Taylor Swift and their thoughts on Ticketmaster. Also, tune in to hear an undiscussed story about an episode that was never released...and why.
It's a rare occasion when Jess & Meg get to be together in person to record, and this episode is one of those occasions. Jess talks about self employment, they both talk about their Matt Maeson shows (meg had a celeb sighting). There's also discussion about the importance of who the openers are at a concert, a new tip on skipping the line if you want front row, & self driving tour buses (WHAT).

After an unintentional break, Meg & Jess are back with some concert recaps. Jess tells the tale of how she got to meet Alicia Keys....but also the unfortunate event where she got scammed out of Harry Styles Tickets. Meg reunited with some old podcast guests at a Twenty One Pilots show and tells us of her concert endeavors. They also discuss the new Super Bowl halftime performer, which leads to a whole rant of Jess's love/hate with Taylor Swift.

Meg & Jess have one of their favorite friends back on the pod: Kathryn Ely. They talk about her and Meg's experience at Buckeye Country Superfest: a guy almost arrested for stealing a paper towel dispenser as well as Meg's unfortunate mishap at the show. It's a big story, you don't want to miss it! Jess also recaps her Coin concert & they all discuss artists and their likeliness based on their documentaries. Oh, and instead of Meg being the mishap talker per the norm, Kath takes the reigns. Tune in to LAUGH YO BOOTAY OFF.

WE BACK BABY! After a much needed hiatus to recharge, Meg & Jess are back with some hot takes. They introduce and discuss their new pets, Meg explains what a screen is, recent concerts they've attended & ones they're looking forward to. They also play Would You Rather?: festival edition, provide a new artist of the week, discuss Harry Styles new album and also what their Vecna song would be (any strangers things fans out there?). OH, and there's obviously some funny laughs to be had for stuttering and Meg's inability to form words sometimes.

"ballin like a bitch baby" Connor May coming in hot on Post Concert Depression. He hits us with his STORAY, tells us how he got connected to Kid Quill and how they almost died frolicking on the train tracks while out on tour. He also coins the term "hands in the cake batter" - what does it mean? You'll have to listen to find out.
