The question of what type of movie is made for someone like Matt is answered in this week's podcast episode because the hosts talk about the action packed and mesmerizing movie Nobody, starring that guy from Breaking Saul and Better Call Bad, Bob Odenkirk! They talk about their favorite kills, the crazy and over the top violence, Matt's horrible analogies, the unfair comparisons to other recent action movies, the host's gripes of the CW Arrowverse, the great choice of music that creates memorable scenes, the lessons learned from being pulled over by the police, and so much more! 

Matt and Brian fittingly talk about the mid 90's blockbuster ID4: Independence Day because it's July, so of course! They chat about the real life Warrens compared to the differences in the movies, if the Warren's are charlatans or good at busting ghosts, the the glaring omission during the trial not found in the movie, the tense scenes and cheap jump scares, the smart decision to take the series out of the haunted house, if Ed could go toe to toe with Thor by the way he uses a sledge hammer, along with the real audio of Matt's initial thoughts and what caused him to have a hysterical, but funny, mental breakdown!

They talk about how everyone looks way too old to be in high school, why you shouldn't murder your high school girlfriend for cheating, all the stuff that seems to come out of left field, the weird special effects and death sequences, and the endings that just keep on coming and give Return of the King a run for the money.

The podcast duo Matt and Brian talk about the strange and complicated but delightfully funny 1980's cult favorite The Adventures Of Buckaroo Banzai Across The 8th Dimension, a movie so hard to explain that even John Lithgow can't even describe it in less than an hour. We go over the problems with production, lack of promotion along with promotion in all the wrong places, the cocaine filled fever dream of building the dimensional travelling super truck, the over zealous producer who wanted to end filming due to red rimmed glasses, and what happens when the flood gates open when the supervision is no longer paying attention. They talk about the horrible theme song along the equally obnoxious Madonna cameo, why leaving "extreme" anything behind is a good thing, things that don't seem very Bond-esque such as Surf Team Six, the never-ending cycle of quips and one liners, the ridiculous plot and villain, and how most of the Brosnan movies are bad through no fault of his own!
