The question of what type of movie is made for someone like Matt is answered in this week's podcast episode because the hosts talk about the action packed and mesmerizing movie Nobody, starring that guy from Breaking Saul and Better Call Bad, Bob Odenkirk! They talk about their favorite kills, the crazy and over the top violence, Matt's horrible analogies, the unfair comparisons to other recent action movies, the host's gripes of the CW Arrowverse, the great choice of music that creates memorable scenes, the lessons learned from being pulled over by the police, and so much more! 

Matt and Brian fittingly talk about the mid 90's blockbuster ID4: Independence Day because it's July, so of course! They jump in the way back machine and remember what the summer was like during the movie's release, they toys and lack luster video games, trends that have vanished into the night, the special effects that were out of this world, the awful typography used during 90's era filmmaking, why sanitizing everything for the sake of being non-offensive is usually a bad idea, why great character development makes you invested in a movie, and if the world could actually survive an alien invasion. For good measure, some more jabs are thrown at Zack Snyder, because of course.

Matt and Brian keep the horror movie streak alive in this week's episode by discussing the Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It! They chat about the real life Warrens compared to the differences in the movies, if the Warren's are charlatans or good at busting ghosts, the the glaring omission during the trial not found in the movie, the tense scenes and cheap jump scares, the smart decision to take the series out of the haunted house, if Ed could go toe to toe with Thor by the way he uses a sledge hammer, along with the real audio of Matt's initial thoughts and what caused him to have a hysterical, but funny, mental breakdown! 

On this special episode of Post Credits Podcast, Matt and Brian talk about the horror movie The Unholy while interviewing the writer, director, and producer Evan Spiliotopoulos! We talk about his inspiration for helming the movie, what it's like creating a movie during the middle of a pandemic, casting and the introduction of Cricket Brown, writing the role for Jeffery Dean Morgan, the inclusion of the impossible date and the kern babies, creating the perfect jump scare, green screen compositing due to delays in shooting, the interesting juxtaposition of false gods in the era of fake news, what cold feels like in Massachusetts during the dead of winter and so much more! This answer is this week's episode where Matt and Brian cover the ever so strange horror entry Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night 2. They talk about how everyone looks way too old to be in high school, why you shouldn't murder your high school girlfriend for cheating, all the stuff that seems to come out of left field, the weird special effects and death sequences, and the endings that just keep on coming and give Return of the King a run for the money.

The podcast duo Matt and Brian talk about the strange and complicated but delightfully funny 1980's cult favorite The Adventures Of Buckaroo Banzai Across The 8th Dimension, a movie so hard to explain that even John Lithgow can't even describe it in less than an hour. We go over the problems with production, lack of promotion along with promotion in all the wrong places, the cocaine filled fever dream of building the dimensional travelling super truck, the over zealous producer who wanted to end filming due to red rimmed glasses, and what happens when the flood gates open when the supervision is no longer paying attention. On the 56th episode of the Post Credits Podcast, Matt and Brian talk about the Ready or Not, which has been highly requested since the launch of the podcast! In this episode, the hosts are split on their opinions and they share their loves and criticisms, or how what Brian liked about it versus Matt's nit picky critique. Matt and Brian kicked off the Post Credits Podcast by talking about Licence to Kill in the first episode of the Post Credits Podcast, so it's only fitting that the hosts kick off year 2 by talking about Die Another Day, arguably one of the worst in the Bond franchise where Roger Moore even stated "went too far", which is amusing because Roger Moore was the first Bond in space! They talk about the horrible theme song along the equally obnoxious Madonna cameo, why leaving "extreme" anything behind is a good thing, things that don't seem very Bond-esque such as Surf Team Six, the never-ending cycle of quips and one liners, the ridiculous plot and villain, and how most of the Brosnan movies are bad through no fault of his own!
