Welcome to week 145!  First and foremost, apologies for audio difficulties.  Roger can be hard to hear.

A man who once defined the Blockbuster for a decade or more is back, after some time, in Gemini Man- only it's only average and maybe a little disappointing.  Click in and have a listen- see why we thought mediocre best describes it.  Adam Divine is pretty great in Jexi opposite Rose Byrne, who voices the evil and vindictive, Jexi- phone personality.  And one of America's weird and lovable families is back in the news adaptation in The Addams Family.  Roger loved it,  find out why!

Films discussed: Gemini Man, Jexi, The Addams Family and The Boys Ep7/8 (Amazon)

Watch Recommendation: Independence Day (1996), Men in Black (1997) or Bad Boys (1995)

It's been quite a while since a movie so controversial and divisive has graced the silver screen.  Tune in this week for the discussion on Joker, the very relevant and topical movie about the iconic villain- a spiral into madness from the ignored and abandoned by society Arthur Fleck to the cool and in control Joker.  Try to answer one of the questions the film wants you to ask- What is at all real?

Films discussed: Joker and The Boys Ep3,4 (Amazon)

Watch Recommendation: Batman (1989) Dir. Tim Burton

Hosted, produced and mixed by Grayson Maxwell and Roger Stillion.  Permanent guest Alex Triveri. Music by Chad Wall.  Quality Assurance by Anthony Emmett.

We continue into this week with another great movie to talk about and one that lacks is story but makes up for it with firepower, that Rambo-ness you've come to expect.  Ad Astra asks some great questions of the audience and is quite the experience with beautiful visuals and journey of one man looking for his father.  Rambo: Last Blood gives you just what you'd expect from a Rambo movie BUT lacks story and emotional center, which would't be a problem except Rambo (2008) gave us those too.

Films discussed: Ad Astra, Rambo:Last Blood and The Boys Ep1,2 (Amazon)

Watch Recommendation: First Blood (1982) / Interstellar (2014)

Hosted, produced and mixed by Grayson Maxwell and Roger Stillion. Music by Chad Wall.  Quality Assurance by Anthony Emmett.
