Prep Sports Weekly for Monday, February 13, 2023, and it's an all district tournament basketball show with Lakewood Head Boys Basketball Coach Anthony Wiederkehr leading off our cavalcade of stars. Next up, it's Monroe Girls Coach David Kaupp and his player Adria Lincoln, who has committed to play for the University of Montana Grizzlies next year. Batting third is Everett Girls Coach Darrell McNeal; and in the clean-up spot, it's Lake Stevens Girls Coach Randy Edens. All the coaches have important district tournament games this week.

2023 District One Boys Basketball Tournament Play-In Game D: The Snohomish Panthers travel to meet the Everett Seagulls, live from Richer Court at Everett High School. Tom Lafferty and Darrell Olson on the call. KRKO Marysville Toyota Player of the Game was Daniel Savovic who led the Seagulls with 34 points en route to a 70-62 victory. Everett advances to meet Mountlake Terrace on Saturday night; Snohomish's season is over. 

Prep Sports Weekly for Monday, February 6, 2023. It's a basketball-centric show and we start with our KRKO Russell & Hill Male Student Athletes of the Month for January 2023, Toby & Eli Trichler of the Sultan Turks boys basketball team, they're joined on the interview by their dad, Sultan head coach Nate Trichler. Then our basketball coach's carousel commences with Archbishop Murphy boys basketball coach Riley Bettinger; Stanwood boys basketball coach Josh Thayer and Snohomish girls basketball coach Ken Roberts; all have district tournament games this week.

Our KRKO Marysville Toyota Player of the Game was senior guard Steven Kuhnle of the Monroe Bearcats; he scored 11 points leading the Bearcats to a 43-42 upset victory.

We hear from the Everett boys basketball team on Seagull Senior Night at the Pit with players Isaiah Parker, Danny Savovic, Hayden Conaxis and Jakob Taft and head coach Bobby Thompson. Then it's the Meadowdale Mavericks girls basketball team with players Payton Fleishman, Gia Powell, Kaiya Dotter, Jordan Leith, Natalie Durbin, Mia Brockmeyer, Ava Powell, Sam Medina, Mackenzie Tindall and Audrey Lucas. Next it's Edmonds-Woodway boys head basketball coach Robert Brown, followed by the Lynnwood Royals girls basketball team, including players Teyah Clark, Mataya Canda, Nyree Johnson, Kayla Lorenz, Jocelyn Tamayo, Aniya Hooker, Eve Pereira, McKenzie Ruse-Martin and head coach Eddie Mcferrin. Then we turn our attention to girls wrestling with Arlington head coach Jim Smoots, Edmonds-Woodway head coach Tre House and Lake Stevens head coach Al Soler. 

High School Basketball Complete Game Broadcast; Everett Seagulls host the Arlington Eagles in Western Conference 3A Boys action; Tom Lafferty and Darrell Olson are on the call. Our KRKO Marysville Toyota Player of the Game was senior forward David Zachman who scored 19 points as Arlington defeated Everett 78-42.

Prep Sports Weekly for Monday, January 23, 2022. The regular season is winding down to just two more weeks; and it’s a basketball rich show. We hear from Corey Gibb, head coach of the Jackson Timberwolves girls basketball team; followed by Steve McCary, interim head coach of the Glacier Peak Grizzlies boys basketball team. Then it’s head coach Joe Marsh and the Arlington Eagles girls basketball team including Kierra Reese, Jenna Villa, Samara Morrow, Rachel Snow, Olivia Sizer, Katie Snow and Khari Deberry. And finally the Mountlake Terrace girls basketball team with head coach Nick Starks and players Maya Davis, Mya Sheffield and Maile Armstrong. 

Complete game broadcast of Western Conference 4A Boys Basketball for Thursday, January 19, 2023, the Mariner Marauders travel to meet the Jackson Timberwolves, live from Jackson High School in Mill Creek. Tom Lafferty and Coach Darrell Olson on the call. Our KRKO Marysville Toyota Player of the Game was 6-7 junior forward Ryan McFerran; he had 13 points and 14 rebounds in Jackson's 82-81 overtime victory.

Prep Sports Weekly for Monday, January 16, 2023. We talk Cleats vs. Cancer Football with four players from the Bothell Cougars Ahmani Hopoi, Conner Tompkins-Delacerda, Cody Petrin, Bryce Kooy and head coach Tom Bainter. Then it's Eddie George, head coach of the Shorecrest Scots boys basketball team and finally, May Tupua, head coach of the Kamiak Knights girls basketball team. 

Complete game broadcast, Thursday, January 12, 2023, the Jackson Timberwolves travel to meet the Lake Stevens Vikings in Western Conference 4A Girls Basketball action. Tom Lafferty and Joel Boyer on the call. Our KRKO Marysville Toyota Player of the Game was Lake Stevens senior point guard Perla Ruiz who had 14 points in Lake Stevens' 71-27 victory over Jackson.
