You can only play Survivor with the hand you’re dealt and unfortunately, pro-poker player, Anna Khait was essentially rivered, when the tribe-swap busted her strategy and flushed her out of the game. There appeared to be a glimmer of home when Tai considered using his hidden immunity idol to save her , a move that would position them in the majority , but Anna was completely blindsided at tribal council when he opted to keep it to ensure his safety later in the game.

In 32 seasons of Survivor we have never seen an episode so intense, with three castaways succumbing to the the harsh realities of the game, and one, Caleb, falling so hard he had to be medically evacuated. In the week’s leading up to last night’s episode, there were theories which castaway might be pulled from the game, but nobody pegged Big Brother’s seemingly invincible Beast-Mode-Cowboy to be the one to leave like this.
