The Diamondbacks put together a strong effort in their series finale against the Padres, but despite holding a late lead, the bullpen faltered once again as Arizona dropped two out of three to San Diego. Jesse Friedman from Snakes Territory joins the show to break down Anthony DeSclafani’s solid outing, Corbin Carroll’s 23rd home run of the season, and the ongoing struggles of an undermanned D-backs bullpen. We also take a look at MLB’s first female umpire working the bases this weekend and preview Zac Gallen’s upcoming matchup against his former teammate Merrill Kelly as the Snakes head to Texas to face the Rangers.
