Arteta has had a tough time of it over the last few weeks from fans and pundits alike, and we have been trying to look at some of the positives for him. However, it didnt go well. We also look at the other games last weekend. A certain member of PostingUp even went as far to say a certain English manager is doing somewhat of a good job. With Ireland's World Cup qualifying group decided and the last 16 of the Champions League and the last 32 of the Europa League lined up there is much to discuss. And of course the QuizPenos leader (Conor) sets a goal related topic for todays shootout.

Level 5 restrictions have been lifted and we are back in the shed talking about football. It has been a long time in footballing terms so we revise our opinions from a few weeks ago to see if any u-turns have been made. The ramble goes from Jose to Liverpool to the top four to.. yes, VAR. And we considered the first season of QuizPenos over with Adam being victorious, so season 2 gets underway with Ryan vs Conor. Hope you enjoy and thanks for the support!

PostingUp Podcast: Episode 8: Improving Ireland, Ireland's Young Youth, Poch Pushed Out, Mourinho Moved In.

This weeks later episode see us talk about Ireland's one all draw with Denmark, Steven Kenny's u21 Ireland team beat Sweden u21 convincingly 4-1, and the big news of the week; Mauricio Pochettino being sacked by Spurs. And his replacement... its Jose Mourinho!!

Ireland battled well and dominated a poor Denmark team in the stalemate in the Aviva on Monday evening. Was our good performance due to our most familiar rivals being well below par, or did Ireland in fact cause this Danish team to look as rudderless as it did? Either way, if you had offered a play off against Slovakia away in March to Mick McCarthy at the outset if this campaign, we think you would have a hand less.

'Kenny's Kids' were convincing winners against the 2nd seeded team in the group the following night. Sweden took the lead with a great goal but Ireland's second half response was quite simply breathtaking. Looking at the players who played on Tuesday who were mostly eligible for the u19s, should we be looking at the u21 age restriction as a limit rather than a requirement.

Pochettino was relived of his duties as Spurs manager on Tuesday evening, to dismay of most of the football world. Spurs knew how to cushion this blow; hire 2 time Chelsea and ex Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho. Is this a good move for Spurs, or is this a backwards step?

We pinpoint the key to the current good form and the pitfalls that may be ahead for teams on a high and the cause of angst and potentially the silver linings in the grey clouds of the struggling big boys.

Ireland's 3-1 win vs the 'All Whites' on Thursday evening has given us a lot to talk about, especially with some players putting in good performances. And, most likely, cause for Irish fans to be up in arms about the reluctance to include them in Mondays 'want-to-win' game against our newly found nemesis Denmark.

We talk willing bench warmers, transfer torture, Kenny's kids (again) and the ideal World Cup Qualification group that is 100% about destination and not footballing ability.

This week on the PostingUp podcast we've gone a bit left field. It was a late recording so we decided to make an evening of it and indulge in some bottles of beer. Crazy right !?

This led to us not sticking to script and not watching the time and has left us with this large podcast.

We have a look forward to the game of the weekend; Liverpool vs Manchester City. This game has become one of the biggest rivalries in the Premier League over the last few years and with City's defensive frailties, Liverpool's slightly shakier defence and both teams never say die attitude it's bound to be a cracker!

We also have a look at some of the other games this weekend, discuss the Ireland squad to play Denmark and New Zealand, propose a united Ireland within footballing circles and a creepy story about the evergreen Fabio Quagliarella and his obsessive fans.

Episode 5 of the PostingUp podcast sees the lads discuss the previous weeks football and look ahead to this weeks football. This is a huge week for both Everton and Spurs, who meet at Goodison Park. Will Spurs be the nail in the coffin of Marco Silva's Everton career or will the blue side of Merseyside inflict more pain on Poch.

Granit Xhaka hasn't been able to stay out of our minds since the he became the star of our podcast. However, Arsenal fans are clearly not impressed with him or his antics as he was substituted last week and he wasn't happy with the Arsenal fans treatment of him in a never ending cycle of discontent.

We talk about the FAI cup final, the thriller in Merseyside mid week, bad bets, bets that could have been and on a serious note the disgraceful treatment of former Derby captain Richard Keogh.
