What do those three things have in common? They made a lot of sense to a white kid growing up in a small town culture void in the 1980's. The thematic transfer of postmodern ideals from high culture to pop culture to digital communication play out in ways that can only be connected by looking in the rearview mirror. So then, how can we look to perceive what is in front of us now? That's for a future episode. This is a classic FIRST episode of low production values and likely some cringeworthy moments that I can only look forward to improving the quality of over time.
