There has been a long standing stigma surrounding professional athletes & the use of CBD/Cannabis as a part of their training. Some athletes have even been stripped of national titles & subsequently suspended or even banned from competing because of Cannabis use. 

This has got to end! Cannabis is classified as a level 1 drug, meaning it is in the same class as heroin! The fact that athletes are being punished for self medicating with this amazing, natural plant is unjust & completely unfair. 

Thankfully there is progress being made and just recently the NBA has removed Cannabis from their anti-drug testing program! We talk about other progress being made, the benefits and risks to using Cannabis as a professional athlete and our own experience with it while training and going to the gym!

In this episode we discuss the Medical Marijuana Petition in Idaho!  Kind Idaho is a non profit organization that is working towards getting legalized plant medicine to Idaho citizens! 

Collectively, Kind Idaho has until April 2024 to collect 63,000 signatures to get MMJ on the 2024 ballot to vote on!

We discuss ways that you can help and also where you can sign! We hope to have a representative from Kind Idaho on our show in the future to further learn more as to why this movement is important to them and why they think it has taken 3 tries to collect these signatures. 

We truly believe that if we ALL work together we can and will get MMJ legalized in Idaho!

In this episode we discuss an article that Jason stumbled upon. In this Leafly article it talks about how people absolutely need 300mg min per dose of CBD for it to work....In my opinion I hated the write up but Jason thinks it's good to have a healthy discussion on why I disagree with it and why he is intrigued by it. I also hated the fact that this author kept calling CBD a drug (insert eye roll here).

Jason will be doing an experiment and taking the daily "recommended" 300mg dose and will report back on our next episode! So stay tuned :)
