Potato Salad Marmalade

What a great show this week. It's rare that we have a moment that gives us chills, but this week, we had them! Why? Well, Carter introduces us to a super rad new band this week...and he's going to sing a new song as well! This talented 7-year-old makes up a tune on the spot, illustrating another way in which he's multi-talented. He's a triple threat!

Like the title says, we figured out the coolest new snack to hit the market, the EN-CHILLY-LADA! It's frozen meat and who doesn't want frozen meat snacks? Yum!

This episode, man, this one is random. And it's beautiful. And it's hilarious. Come check it out and see what we mean.

"Hey Carter! You wanna play a game?"

Like that, a love for videogames was born. Who wouldn't want to hang out with Dad and play some fun old games? But in doing so, had Shawn created a monster? Now, he has to work with Bubba on the podcast to decide the greatest videogame hero, Mario or Sonic? What might the repercussions of this decision be?

Ever wondered if Carter would choose "up" or "down" when pressed? Us too. That's why we were so happy when Producer Mommy suggested the Either/Or segment for this week's show. The boys had a blast getting to know the little dude a little better while creating a safe area for discussion. Also, on this week's episode, Dad seeks to redeem himself with the Jumping Jack Challenge. He couldn't hit 50 last time (and he was supposed to hit 200!), so can he get to 50 this time? We'll find out.

If you're looking for a great Carter podcast episode, this is the one. First, we tackle the concept of "superstores" and what he'd put in his. Where would it be and what would it sell? By this point, if you've listened to Potato Salad Marmalade long enough, you get what he's all about and one guess might put you smack dab on the right answer. He has a certain set of skills as well, but to find out what they are, you're going to have to listen to this week's episode of the show.

Carter is going to be a scientist. That's a fact, the kid is too bright and he's always inventing stuff. Take his personal mini-fridge for example. This kid has "it." What he really wants to do is make sure that the future cartoon wars are fought in a fair way, so he is engineering a way to make that happen. Also, we talk Jell-O. It's all over the place.

If you woke up tomorrow morning and had transformed, what would you be? Well, Carter and Christopher Pickles had one heck of a time this week. The two buddies were all about the questions this week and chatted like there was no tomorrow. We're surprised that no one said butter. Also, what landmark do we want to rename -- the show is just silly and great this week.

Everyone has moments that they'd love to live down. The PSM boys, Shawn and Carter, are no different, regardless of their ages. This week, Sticky Jimmy joins them to discuss his biggest snafu as well. We get a really special listener question and it involves acronyms! OMG!

Carter needed to get to the bottom of the mystery: how DOES S.Hawn get into the Wii at night? I mean, he's a full-grown man and he even entertains guests inside the new/old VCR that Dad got. So what did we find out?

It was a snow day here at PSM HQ, and Shawn and Carter headed out for some time amongst the flakes. Or powder. Whatever you want to call it. Carter wasn't sure what he liked best (he was born in Florida, so snow is still kinda "new" to him) so we talk about the best wintertime activities for out in the snow. Also, what job would Bubba have if he worked out at sea? His answer came quickly and it surprised Dad!
