Poteau Pirate Podcast

No guests this week because of Parent-Teacher Conferences. There is however quite a bit going on from PTCs to a PHS team getting 4th at State. If you wanna know what is going on at PHS, this is the place.

Also we will be TRYING OUT taking questions and comments. Just go to anchor.fm/poteauhigh and leave a voice message. It can be a question about what is going on, a comment about events or even about the show. Please keep in mind that you do still need to act appropriately and please leave your name at the beginning of your message.  Poteau High School students only please.

In the 10th episode of the podcast, I have Aidan Falkner and Alexa Mutz on the show to talk about their new podcast called TEA-M-I. We discuss what makes their podcast interesting and why you should listen to it. Should be a lot of fun.

As always we have the announcements (lots this week) and as a bonus a preview of yet another podcast coming out of 7th hour.

If you would like to be on Tea-M-I you can message the A-team on the Tea-M-I page.

After a rough start, we get to the announcements. If you are a Senior, you need to pay special attention, most of the announcements are for you. After that , I sat down with Andrew and Ronnie and spoke about their new podcast, The Gameporium. We spoke about what they want to do with their podcast and what you the listener can expect. If you are into video games, then you owe it to yourself to give it a listen.

After the announcements, I sat down with McKenzie Chavez to talk about her podcast Deep Thoughts that is premiering soon. If you would like to appear on Deep Thoughts you can email McKenzie at her school email [email protected].

Welcome back! Hope you had a good break and are ready to get back to it. This week I spoke with Jacques Adams and Andrew Ellis about Pirate Video. If anything video or YouTube related interests you, give this a listen. Also this week I make an announcement about the Poteau Pirate Podcast going forward.

In the final episode of the year, we talk to a few people about their Christmas traditions. Their answers may surprise you.

We want to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season and a happy new year. We will see everyone back here on Jan. 6 2020.

After the announcements, I talk to Mr. Hackler about the Incentive Program for students. Come see if we answer your question.

This episode of the Poteau Pirate Podcast is a bit shorter but we keep you up to date with the Pirates win in the Quarterfinals and some history on Thanksgiving.

Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving break!

In this week's episode we go through a small number of announcements, talk to Jentri Jordan, Miss PHS 2019, and Christian and Cameron Duncan about football and what it is like to get recruited to play a sport in college.
