I’m having a bit of deja vu, it seems. Around this time last year, I was woefully sad about a boy; and here I am, crying over a man yet again. I'll tell you what- dealing with heartache, breakups, timing not timing for you perfectly, fights, rejection, loneliness, and relationship hardships are awful. I’ve experienced all of these things from multiple angles.  I've learned a lot, and now have a lot of tools in my toolbox to cope in a healthy(ish) way. Alli Bridgers, a new friend of mine, is going through her own break up & heartache, so we decided to move through it together and talk about it on the podcast. On today’s episode of Raw Intentions, we dive into all things heartbreak, finding happiness in new singleness, knowing when to pull the plug on a relationship, dating, sadness, loneliness, the comparison game, and how to find that love and happiness again within yourself. To feel ALL the things, lean on friends when you need to, and be patient with yourself. Alli is a bit farther along in the grieving process than I am, so it was so nice hearing her perspective; I got some really fabulous advice myself from her wise words. At the time we recorded this, I could feel my own relationship crumbling as it happened, and knew something awful was around the corner. My gut always speaks to me loudly, and we discuss the importance of listening to your gut, always. If you’re going through this yourself, I am SO sorry.
