The interview opens with Storr discussing getting the news that Kevin Jackson would be stepping down as head coach. Storr also talks about his first conversation with new head coach Kevin Dresser. 

From there the topic switched to Kanen's success on the mat, from his folkstyle season and defeating ranked opponents to qualifying for the Senior Men's Freestyle World Team Trials.

First, the guys dive into last week's Iowa High School state championships, taking you through all the major storylines from the tournament, as well as looking ahead to top returning point scores for next season.

Second, was all the happenings in Ames, Iowa with Kevin Dresser being named Iowa State's 8th head coach in program history. Lars and Ross discuss what the hiring could mean for Iowa State.

There was more than just Dresser news out of Iowa State yesterday, as IAwrestle was one of the leading media site breaking the news that Pat Downey is no longer a part of the program. Lars and Ross discuss what went down.

The guys wrapped things up with the least surprising news from last week, that Iowa City West's Nelson Brands committed to Iowa and will be coached by his uncle and his father.
