Ah, heroes! Big question, but fun to unpack. A hero can mean so many different things to different people. As a child, I think I’d call someone a hero based on how they made me feel—like someone who was brave, kind, or willing to stand up for what was right. Maybe I'd have thought of comic book characters, like superheroes with capes, but I’d also recognize people in my life who helped others, like teachers or older siblings.
