His disciples are troubled by what Jesus says, but Jesus assures them that he will not leave them on their own. Prophet Alex Armstrong teaches on recognizing the spirit of pride and walking in the gift of humility. Humility is the ability to think outside and above yourself for a greater purpose. Humility is the key characteristic of Christ that allowed Him to lay aside His heavenly throne, and become a man. Pride is a cunning spirit that covers our senses and causes us to make self-destructive decisions. Pride has a way of causing us to put ourselves before the greater good of the organizations we belong to and the relationships we have. It ruins every good thing in our lives.

The Bible tells us in no uncertain terms what the signs of the end times are, and indeed we are in those perilous times. It tells us the knowledge will increase, deceiving spirits will rise, and evil will be praised and rewarded. It also warns us that the world would be like the days of Noah (Luke 17:27) As God's people, these perilous times must not sway us but rather strengthen our faith in the God we serve. He will protect us and keep us (Isaiah 66:16). A major key to unlocking our Kingdom blessings is through tithing. The Bible instructs that our tithe be ten per cent (10%) of our increase, whatever the increase. Anything less is robbing God of what is due Him. Our tithes are a covenant with God that commands blessings. Tithing reminds us to keep God as our topmost priority. Tithing is an instruction from God, and as His children, it is our responsibility to obey His every instruction.Honouring our financial commitments to God honours Him. It proves His existence to the world because it provokes Him to rain covenanted blessings on the faithful.

Prosperity is desired by many; in actual facts, our heavenly father wishes that we all prosper. We know this for sure in 3 John 1:2 (NKJV) “I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”Whenever someone mentions “the prosperity gospel,” often we think they are referring to money only. That’s certainly part of living life more abundantly, but that isn’t all Jesus had in mind.It would be easy to settle for spiritual prosperity, but also only that type of spiritual prosperity does not bring glory to God and give full honour to what Jesus paid for us to enjoy here on earth.
