The words found in John 3:16 are familiar, but still powerful to every person who hears them. The message of the Gospel is not to condemn the sinner, but to provide the ultimate gift of eternal life. This gift is available to all who will only believe.

We are living in days of growing persecution toward Christians. It has certainly been very evident around the globe, but even in the United States there is a growing hatred and anti-christ spirit. However, persecution is not always a bad thing.

The world seems to have a growing number of people who feel forgotten and unwanted. Isolation and loneliness torment many people who feel as though they are an “outcast” in this world. As always, the Scripture provides hope and Good News!

The revelation of God's goodness changed the face of Moses. God wants to change the face of His church through a revelation of His goodness -- a visitation of His glory! He desires a church that will proclaim the “Good News” not just in word but in power!

The next generation is watching and learning from the decisions made by the people of influence in their lives. They are hungry for somebody to walk-out and live-out what they believe.

We find Moses tending a flock in the desert, when he was surprised by a burning bush. In that experience, he heard God say “I will send you that you may bring the children of Israel out of Egypt.” Those words seemed impossible to Moses. But God was with Moses and He called the mighty out of hiding.

We find Gideon hiding from the enemy when an Angel tells him “The LORD is with you, you mighty man of valor!” Those words were opposite of Gideon’s current situation – he could not identify himself as a mighty man of valor. But God had a different view of Gideon.

Many people are drudging through life, struggling in their faith and growth, and never really understanding the blessings God is speaking over them. When we understand and embrace the Scripture’s teaching, it is life changing.

One of the most strategic attacks of the enemy is in the believer’s mind. If he can influence your thoughts to think contrary to God’s Word, he can affect all other aspects of your life. As believers, we must guard against these attacks and continually renew our mind in the Truth, because our thoughts determine our destiny.

Tobiah worked against the mission that God had given to Nehemiah. Similarly, there are things in our lives which work against us. It’s time to kick out the Spirit of Tobiah!
