The PounceCast host Matt Menzl welcomes Kyle Rechlicz for an preseason discussion of the 2026-27 season.  Coach is returning 12 players from her 2025-26 squad and discusses how training camp is coming along along with the dynamics of recruiting and assembling a team.

Coach Rechlicz also reflects on the time as a 4-year letter winner at the University of Wisconsin and how her collegiate playing career spurred an interest in coaching.

Throughout her time as UWM Womens Basketball Head Coach, Rechlicz has led 12 All-Conference selections, while the team has also had four All-Defensive and six All-Freshman honorees. She was also named the 2016 Horizon League Coach of the Year following the team's 12-win conference schedule, reaching the Horizon League Championship game and qualifying for the Women's NIT.

PounceCast host Matt Menzl welcomes former UWM mens basketball player Chris Hill.  Chris was a member of the Milwaukee Panthers men's team that won the Horizon League regular season championship three consecutive years from 2004 to 2006 and won back-to-back Horizon League Men's Basketball Tournaments in 2005 and 2006. He was a member of the team that made the sweet sixteen for the first time in school history at the 2005 NCAA Mens Division 1 Tournament.

Chris discusses his time as a UWM Panther and as a coach.  He reflects on his basketball journey growing up in Chicago and beyond.
